Rip Off with Defective Toilet

They sold me a defective toilet and then wanted me to pay the large return shipping bill. this company a total ripoff avoid at all costs. The stuff they sell is junk and they have to know it and the so called customer service manager was unhelpful and could not have cared less that he was ripping me off. We called their custmer service people and followed all their instructions to no avail. I will never buy anything from them again and no one else should there stuff is fake they sell brand products and send you a phony unmarked fake item

Defective Toilet - Will not Cooperate

Do not buy from them! They sold us defective toilet and even after $1400 in plumbing services from licensed plumbing company, they are un-willing to exchange. Kevin in customer service is not helpful. I even gave them a chance to exchange the toilet, but they still are not willing to accommodate. The company is not focused on customers, just look at all the negative reviews. I would buy from somewhere else, not worth the headache. the worst company.. worst experience.. they should be shut down to save other consumers from the same experience. Do your homework, and avoid! Not worth it!

I bought an outdoor giraffe, 6.5 ft tall. It started to peel after 11 months. I painted it with the best sealer money can buy, my wife called to what can be done, the woman was snooty with my wife, said they would not do anything about it. Don't buy from here. Don't stand behind the products they sell. The Giraffe cost almost 500.00. Special Birthday present. The woman at the Interior Gallery told us to find somebody to repaint it?? IS she kidding, this company should be put out of business with that smart attitude. I will fill a complaint with the BBB also. They stink. Don't buy anything from them.

Dont order from the Interior Gallery

I ordered a vanity for my bathroom remodel. Everything in the shipment arrived damaged, mirror, basins, countertop and cabinet. They packaged it poorly and when I called customer care and spoke with Sharon the supervisor she was very rude and unhelpful. After explaining to her about everthing being damaged to resolve issues she recommened cancelling order. I explained contractors timeline and options for me to absorb cost for Saturday delivery she refused and cancelled my order. Not only was this poor customer service but have never experienced someone cancelling order or unwillingness to resolve issue. I would not recommend ordering from this place!!

Do NOT deal with Interior Gallery

I ordered a toliet from the Interior Gallery. It arrived broken. One month later I received another toilet. It was broken. They stated that if I paid another 127 dollars they would send me another one...no assurance that it would not ALSO be broken. I ordered mirrors, 2 they were supposed to be identical. They were not. One of them had a chip, the other has defective coating. DO NOT ORDER from them they apparently sell mediocre seconds. Live and learn, they will not stand by their products. I am left with having to use mediocre mirrors and a cracked toilet

INTERIOR GALLERY SELLS DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE THEN WON'T REFUND YOUR MONEY

we received a toilet with a crack in it. Interior gallery said they Inspected it and it was fine. Told us to file a claim against the shipper. They denied responsibility too. We are out $500. Sherri, the manager at Interior Gallery was extreemly rude and tried to talk over us with "policy" garbage. It was as if she were reading like a robot out of a "your screwed" handbook. I am going to file a complaint with the BBB as well. Wish I would have read the other complaints against this company before buying. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Sells bad products, ZERO customer service

A company in general should not have this many BAD REVIEWS in a short period of time. Our loss of $500 on a toilet because it was defective is exactly like the other complaints. Not a coincidence! Of the few good reviews, most sound fishy, like they were written from the Interior Gallery themselves, (or their children based on the ridiculous smiley faces) This company takes NO responsibility for the defective toilet and we are out the $500! I find this inexcusable. We are a construction company who uses Internet companies frequently for materials like this. NEVER had a problem with the others.

Another broken toilet

Ordered a toilet from Interior gallery but unfortunately I wasn't home to take delievery. I told them to leave it in an enclosed patio. Box looked undamaged but still looked in to inspect and make sure it was what I ordered. I placed it safely in a pod I rented for items I was receiving for the construction project. Went to install it 2 months later and found hair line cracks in the outside both on the side and in the back. My plumber refused to install it citing the cracks could compromise the structual intrgrity. Called the company and they said I should have inspected it when it was delivered. I told them I wasn't home at the time. They said go back and read the contract. Once it leaves the factory its out of their hands. I said maybe it was shipped from the factory with the cracks. Oh no the woman said. We inspect everything before its shipped. How do they stay in business with that kind of attitude. I'm out $500 for a toilet I can't use. Read their contract, which I didn't, and you won't order anything from this company. They put everything on the customer especially their defective products.

I recently encountered the exact same experience with this company. It was very apparent in speaking with a woman in their customer service that she was well versed in denying any responsibility.

Worse yet, she told me to repair the leaking crack with a fill stick, going on to say that they have plumbers do so "all the time".

Buy from these folks if you are a glutton for punishment.

After 30 days, I have had no further communication with the company. I filed a complaint with the BBB. They contacted the company in writing, and having received no response, they have closed their file and listed the company as "unresponsive".

We ar stuck with the defective products, and will incur additional expense to make them right.

Ordered bathroom vanity, sink, and mirror. Mirror wood stain color is different. Countertop came with defect, on both sides. Spoke to the company, sent pictures. They offered to send me some stain to fix mirror frame myself, and said to buy a granite cleaner for the counter. (It's a flaw, not dirt) I did not order a do it yourself project. They refused to do anything about it, no refund, replacement, no nothing. I guess we will have to restain the mirror frame ourselves to make it darker to match the vanity, but the countertop , I don't think it can be "fixed". I will never order from these people again.You shouldn't either!!!

Defective merchandise

I bought a piece of furniture and it was delivered defective. They refuse to deliver a replacement. I was not asking for something for nothing, simply to have replacement furniture to be delivered in good condition. Evidently they feel defective is normal, in fact that's exactly what I was told. That the furniture was suppose to look like that, keep in mind that I'm told this by someone that did not even see the furniture. Be sure to read their multipage disclaimer, it basically says, "Too bad for you!". Management is not cooperative. Attempting to get them to be reasonable is impossible. When someone spends over $2000 for a piece of furniture they have the right to expect it to be in good condition. I will be passing my experience along to warn others that they should know, what you see in the store or online is not what you get.

This company leaves reviews for themselves on their website. Even here on this forum they are the ones fighting the negative reviews. I know this because i know the owner personally and purchased a number of things from him and yet the products never stand to their description. horrible service and where is my money? probably in his bank account by now. basically not satisfied with the outcome of this companys customer service/product. If i could i would get my money back. but their 30 days money back guarentee are only if the owner feels up to it or not.

Will not replace a defective item

I'm a contractor. My client saw a good looking modern vanity on The Interior Gallery's other website modernbathroomvanities.com. It was $1800. We order it. It came on time. That's the end of the good. Now the bad. The online picture and description shows a gray cabinet with an acrylic sink top - the Aviateur 51" set. Out of the box you can see the base cabinet has violet and pink undertones - definitely not gray. The sink top is warped so that one side does not actually sit on the base. I sent several emails (with high resolution pics) to address the problem -no response at all. I called and spoke to the "customer service rep" who told me that they had indeed received the emails and the pics, but did not see the defects I mentioned. We then had a discussion about how it was my job as a contractor to install the vanity in a way that compensates for the "hand-made character" of the sink top. Can anyone tell me how to make a warped top straight? Or magically turn the wood from purple to gray? Anyway, they told me there was nothing else they could do. I asked for the county where to business is registered so I could file a complaint with the BBB. She hung up. Real nice.

Scam!

Theinteriorgallery.com or Modernbathroom.com are the same company. They don't sell the actual product they posted on the websites.

They sell a cheap reproduction of it and they there not functional. Be very careful buying their product. I just got ripped off over a $2000 dollar vanity!!!! Beware!!!

There is only one person who handles both company. He is the service department, sales department, shipping, etc.....My purchase was a Valentino vanity, the faucet was too long for the sink, the mirror cabinet they sent is wood not stainless steel like the picture they have shown. Handles for cabinet is completely *** off.

The cabinets is open side way but the handles are on the bottom. Materials are cheap!!

I wanted an unique look for my new powder room. I love the Cerchio toilet-$650 and a basin-$550 this company sell. With all the bad reviews, I don't want to take a chance and lose my hard earn money, thus I will pass.

We purchased a very expensive toilet from and discovered a crack when we went to install (not detected when we received). The customer service people refused to help in any way, citing their return policy (if you discover hidden damage after delivery, your screwed).

I was told they test their toilets for leaks prior to shipping and that they have never once sent a flawed product (see other negative reviews about toilets and quality control).

I am a contractor and purchase products on a regular basis from other companies who are always interested in making sure we are satisfied consumers.

This is certainly not the case for these folks, so why bother doing business with them. Don't waste your time or your money.

DO NOT DO NOT BUY A TOILET FROM THIS COMPANY.. toilet had flaws that made it impossible to install without leaking. company tech was helpful but in the end they would not help or except blame.. return it they said- which with terms and conditions laws means after spending $500 you will get back $100.

They have an answer for everything.. the toilet is listed as 25.6 depth it had a 26.6 depth. When asked about this they said it was hand made and that they cannot stand by the dimensions listed on website. When installing the toilet had irregularities around the ceramic flange leaving a cap in the front for which water could flow out..

I tried all gaskets on market and got a plumber.. No go and still interior gallery would not replace or refund.. Interior gallery said this has never happened before- I find that hard to believe. These toilet have very poor quality control inspection before leaving its manufacturing source..Buy from a source that gives you the buyer better protection.

There furniture may be good but the toilets need to be spot on and being that they sell for $500 quality should be there. it there way or the highway..

do not believe any positive reviews for toilets. If this was a company that cared about customers then they would work harder on their return policy...Completely unsatisfied customer!!!!!

Putting a huge sign on my truck "Never buy from Interior Gallery".

I live in Dallas and use my truck for business, many people will read it. Word of mouth and the internet is a very powerful way to let people beware of ripoff companies like this.

The item I received from the merchant Theinteriorgallery.Com is not as describe on their website. 1. The Theinteriorgallery.Com website gives 2 choices of color Black and Blanched Almond. I purchased Blanched Almond. The item I received has black lines on it. If I had known that I wouldn't have bought the product. This information that the vanity would contain black lines is no where on their website or image as of 8/10/2011. Please see proof on the following pages. 2. Theinteriorgallery.Com image of the vanity contains lines that are horizontal. The design of my bathroom specifically calls for horizontal lines and that's the product I purchased after reviewing images and information provided on the website. Unfortunately the product I received is completely different with lines going up and down or vertically, had I known this I wouldn't have purchased the product. I contacted the merchant and explained to them that they are misleading and false advertising the product. Moreover they are sending a product that is completely different then described. I printed out the pictures from their website on 8/10/2011 just in case they change the images and description on their website after my call.

No refund/replacement for damaged vanity top after 6 weeks

I ordered a bathroom vanity set and the vanity top had breakage. They state that they reserve the right to replace damaged merchandise within 30 calendar days of notification by the customer. However, even after 45 calendar days, no replacement or refund has happened, in my case. The customer service rep. dare hang up the phone out of anger, and commented she had no idea what went wrong with her phone when I initiated the follow-up communication. The solid surface vanity top was broken because of its structural flaw. Firstly, it doesn't have support other than four sides of the wood cabinet it sits on. In order to correct this problem, I will need to *** the vanity top and add a plywood to go underneath it so that the vanity top doesn't have to bear the weight of a heavy porcelain sink, heavy faucet and itself. Secondly, the vanity top is not shaped to fit the wooden cabinet. Only two 19" sides contact the vanity top, while two 47.25" sides are "floaty". Thirdly, there was not enough impact absorbing material in the box for shipment. A thin layer of cardboard box was the only cusion between a heavy porcelain bowl and the vanity top. With the structual deficit combined with the heavy bowl hitting it during shipment, there is no way the vanity top can survive. There has not been a sincere apology from the business for leaving a bathroom of a family of three children disfunctional for over 6 weeks. This business doesn't mind spending money on deleting complaint records from, you know, "B x3" but doesn't make effort to improve itself or pay attention to customer satisfaction, as far as I have experienced.
